Kieran O’ Donovan qualified with a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy from Kings College London in 1999. He spent his first two years working as a physiotherapist in the public health system and in private practice in Cork, Ireland.  In 2001 he returned to full-time study to gain an MSc in Manipulative Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton. Kieran then worked as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist in the Royal Free Hospital in London for two years. In 2006 Kieran moved to Manchester and began working in a private practice in Manchester city centre.

Kieran has a special interest in shoulder and back problems and has worked closely with many athletes and teams. His sporting interests are numerous and he presently competes in Gaelic football and triathlon. Outside of working and training Kieran also fills the role of secretary to Manchester Triathlon Club. He believes in constantly updating his skills and using the latest research to guide his practice. In addition to physiotherapy Kieran has also trained in acupuncture and pilates.
